To achieve that goal, you should become familiar with the words in the resource, paying special attention to those included in the exercise. The interactive activity provides feedback so that you can evaluate your performance.

How do you say this in English?
-Experiencia laboral:
-Formación académica: and (you can simply say “Education”, too).
-Conocimientos de informática: (you could also say “ knowledge”, but “ ” is more common; in any case, notice that you can’t say “ knowledges”. Likewise, “conocimientos de arte contemporáneo” would translate as “knowledge of contemporary art”: “knowledge” is an uncountable noun.
-Trabajador en prácticas:
(also known as an “intern”; “prácticas” would be “internship”).
Foreign qualifications
- Do you understand what a Bachelor of Arts (or BA) is? Be careful, it does NOT mean “Bachillerato de Arte”. Click here to find out about Bachelor’s degrees: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bachelor's_degree
- If you want to write your CV in English, don’t use the names of foreign qualifications (BA, BFA, MA, MFA., etc.), unless you have really earned a degree from a foreign university. It may be better to leave the original names of your qualifications in Spanish and then give some sort of paraphrase between brackets:
- Formación Profesional de grado medio (Upper secondary level vocational training).
- Formación Profesional de grado superior (Tertiary level vocational training).
- Grado en… (Three/Four/Five/Six-year degree in…)
- Diplomatura en (Three-year degree in…)
- Licenciatura (Five/Six-year degree in…)
- Máster en (Master’s degree in…)
