What can you see?
Points to be covered
• Type of scene: describe the place, the people, the things you can see.
• Try to follow a logical order:
- From left to right (or from right to left)
- From the middle/center to the sides (or from the sides to the middle)
- From the foreground to the background (or from the background to the foreground)
Some useful expressions you might want to employ
• The artwork shows/depicts (place, person, scene)
• In the artwork you can see… (position: on the left/right/…)
• There is/are… (position: in the middle/center …)
• (position: In the foreground/background …) you can see…

"The Persistence of Memory depicts a surreal scene.
